Sirio Yarn from Filitaly-Lab features in two magazines
The Yarn Cafe are proud to be the sole UK suppliers of yarns from Filitaly-Lab. There yarns are alpaca based and beautiful and luxurious. Sirio, which has a sparkly gold or silver thread is attacting attention and has features in two magazines. The yarn consists of 50% alpaca, 22% nylon, 21% polyester and 7% ultrafine alpaca. It comes in a large 50g ball and you get 150 metres!
Sirio features in the January 2012 editions of Let’s Knit magazine (page 10) and Popular Crafts magazine who are doing a give away of 2 balls – one is mid grey and silver and the other is brown and gold. Details of the give away are on page 42 of the magazine (along with many other goodies!) and the competition ends on 19 January 2012.
As featured in Let’s Knit…
The Yarn Cafe are lucky enough to have two mentions in the December 2011 edition of Let’s Knit magazine (pages 10 and 37). The first on page 10 features a picture of the mini skein grab bag (10 skeins) that we stock from Dye Spin Knit as part of their feature on creating hexapuffs. We have donated a pack of these to their competition.
The second feature is on suitable gifts for Christmas and gives details of our mini sock blocker kit. This includes a mini sock blocker created by Sunflower Swifts, a pattern from Literally Yarn and a mini ball of Opal sock yarn.
Let’s Knit have a great competition to win a mini skein grab bag; the Beekeeper Quilt knitting pattern from Tiny Owl Knits; a lovely bag from Nic’s Knots and a set of Brittany double pointed needles provided by Artesano Yarns (all of the goodies are in the picture below (picture from Let’s Knit). Here is the link to enter the competition. Best of luck!
